It’s not Annie James, as you might have expected. 😉 (but if you keep scrolling, you’ll find out how we got our name)!
I’m a wife, a mama, a daughter, a friend. I’m also a seasoned neonatal nurse practitioner. I’m passionate about physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being and I know that what I put on my body is as important as what goes in my body.
Thirteen years ago, I created the first Annie James product, the original facial cleanser. I’ve used this oil-based cleanser ever since because it’s simple, affordable and effective. After years of creating my own products and perfecting my skincare routine, I decided to share my products with the world! Today, I love showing how oil-based skincare can simplify your skincare, keep your skin looking healthy and vibrant, while also being an affordable, natural alternative.

I’m based in Central Virginia, where I’m constantly inspired by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I have a deep love for storytelling and digital marketing, especially when it comes to sharing brands that truly make a difference—like Annie James. Outside of work, you’ll probably find me at a concert, indulging in anything peanut butter, or spending time with my French Bulldog, Reese (who might just be the real star of the show). But above all, my greatest joy is my faith in Jesus, and I strive to live in a way that reflects His love every day. I’m so excited to be on this journey and can’t wait to connect with you!

The Annie James story
Who is Annie James?
The million dollar question!
The name Annie James originates from Katie’s family roots. Her grandmother was one of five sisters. During her childhood, she saw four of those women often and they were constants in her life. No frills, just salt-of-the-earth, dependable women. They worked hard and enjoyed their families. They were consistent and she found comfort in knowing what to expect from them.
The name Annie James is a tribute to those women. It is a combination of their names and, as such, a tribute to their influence in Katie’s life.
